Health & Sport Report

Cluster Carnival

Last Friday our Year Six students participated in a sports carnival with students from Ashdale and Landsdale Primary. The carnival allowed our graduating students to meet fellow graduates and form friendships and make connections in a friendly and fun atmosphere. I’d like to wish all our Year Six students all the best for high school

Beach Safety

Last week all our PP to Yr 6 students participated in a beach safety incursion run by Surf Life Saving WA. The students learnt many valuable skills such as where to swim, how to identify dangers and what to do in an emergency. Remember to have fun this summer but please be vigilant in and around the water.

Autism Association Fundraiser in Memory of Sam Trott

Last week saw the tragic event to the community, state and country in the death of Sam Trott.

As a resident I was overwhelmed by how the community rallied together in the search and how affected we all were at the sad news.

In light of this I have organised a charity football match to be held at Kingsway Reserve between some local junior teams. All money raised will go to the Autism Foundation and we are hoping to make this a huge event.

In order for this to be successful we need as much community support as possible. There will be opportunities for people to donate on the day in different forms.

Date: Saturday 20th December
Where: Olympic Kingsway Football Club, Madeley
Time: 1:30 PM

Thankyou
Antony Benetti
Parent, Madeley Primary School
